We met up just before sunset, when the light gets all soft and glowy (photographer’s dream).
I grabbed a few of the classic family shots first everyone together, smiling at the camera, the kind of photo that ends up framed on the mantle or sent out in holiday cards. But honestly, those moments in between? The best part. Katie brushing hair out of her daughter’s face as the wind picked up. Matt swinging her up in the air, getting a squeal and the biggest grin.
