I have a soft spot for outdoor weddings. There isn’t anything better then a beautiful ceremony in the glow of the afternoon sun. Sugarboo Farms is by far one of the most unique and fun outdoor venues I’ve shot at this year.
This venue is about as remote as it gets in the state of Georgia. Sugarboo Farms is a barn turned event venue with a rad hippiesque vibe. Complete with a small petting zoo and a swimming pool, in case you’re in the mood to cut the cake then take a swim.
I remember first meeting Amanda at Starbucks a few months ago for our wedding meeting. She was telling me not to be surprised by their out of the ordinary wedding ideas. I personally prefer to call them awesome wedding ideas. I love when couples can be themselves and plan a wedding how they want. Amanda and Chris wanted a Ring Bear – a friend dressed as a bear who presented the rings. It was totally unique to their style and super fun! I couldn’t stop laughing as he skipped down the aisle during the ceremony. Sugarboo Farms was the perfect place for their alternative style and really brought all of their ideas together.
