Stunning Vintage Model Session | Atlanta Portrait Photography

It’s very rare that I get to experiment and play with my camera in an almost timeless setting anymore. With my wedding photography business getting older and wiser I have weddings booking year round now. I love that. I really never thought I’d be here with a legit business and a list of people who really want me to take their picture. It’s a little unreal. With a business comes all of the responsibility and timelines. Those model shoots I used to experiment with in my free time just don’t happen very often anymore. I think it’s important to experiment in your craft and try things outside of your usual style once in a while. It’s how we learn and ultimately how we grow. Plus, if you screw up a model shoot, there’s no pressure.

I happen to have a friend who enjoys photography and who, in her own words, has ” a bunch of gowns laying around.” Pretty much the perfect recipe for a good photo shoot. I called her up and asked her to come out to the woods with me. This is what we came up with.
